Chinese manufacturer Hisense has joined Tradeplace’s Direct Connection as part of their order management improvement process. A new name in the impressive list of manufacturers and retailers using the Direct Connection. This major step for Hisense allows the supplier to take its order management to the next level and simplify its complex order processes. Hisense has access to all retailers in the UK that are already active on the Tradeplace platform.
In 2018, the Hisense Company took over the Gorenje Group, with brands such as ATAG and ASKO. The takeover helped Hisense to gain solid ground in the European white goods market. The company is now one of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world. When choosing the e-ordering platform “Direct Connection”, the good relationship between Tradeplace and AO was of decisive importance.
Direct Connection works according to a one-to-many principle: once you are connected to the hub, you can connect to all other affiliated trade partners at no extra charge. This creates a connection hub via Tradeplace to all other companies on the Direct Connection platform. The e-ordering platform is used by manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers to manage orders, view prices, and check product availability.
The option to support complex order processing through Tradeplace was an important factor in Hisense UK’s selection of Tradeplace. Since Tradeplace can process large volumes of orders in real-time, Tradeplace partners have the option of building their order processes in such a way that they can maintain optimal inventories simply. This feature accelerates order processing which in turn will grow Hisense’s total sales because purchases will be completed at a faster rate. All these advantages together made that Hisense UK’s choice fell on Tradeplace.
