What is the Inheritance button in the Digital Sales assistant settings?
This article will explain what the Inheritance button does in each type of setting within the Digital Sales Assistant.
Inheritance button for general settings:
The Inheritance button of the general settings activates the inheritance of all general settings to the respective subsidiaries:
- If there is an administrator in a subsidiary, he/she can change the general settings, whereby these changes are then passed on to his/her subsidiaries
- If a change is made to the settings, these settings must be inherited again.
- Users who do not have administrator rights cannot change the inherited settings.
Inheritance button for shopping baskets:
The Inheritance button of the shopping baskets activates the inheritance of all general settings of the shopping baskets to the respective subsidiaries:
- If there is an administrator in a subsidiary, he/she can change the settings of the shopping baskets, whereby these changes are then passed on to his/her subsidiaries
- If a change is made to the settings, these settings must be inherited again.
- Users who do not have administrator rights cannot change the inherited shopping basket settings.
Inheritance button for favourites lists:
The Inheritance button for the favourites lists activates the inheritance of all general settings of the favourites lists to the respective subsidiaries.
- The number of inheritable favourites lists is limited to five.
- However, if required, the user can also create additional favourites lists without inheritance.
- If there is an administrator in a subsidiary, he/she can change the settings of the favourites lists, whereby these changes are then passed on to his/her subsidiaries
- If a change is made to the favourite sets, these favourite sets must be inherited again.
- Users who do not have administrator rights cannot change the inherited settings of the favourites lists.
Inheritance button for the product price settings:
The Inheritance button for the product price settings activates the inheritance of all individually set price factors to the respective subsidiaries.
- If there is an administrator in a subsidiary, he can change the price factors, the manually set prices, the core range and/or the comments, which in turn are passed on to his subsidiaries.
- If a change is made to the price factors, the manually set prices, the core range and/or the comments, these factors must be inherited again.
- If prices are set manually or imported via CSV import, these prices for these products must be passed on to the subsidiaries.
- Users who do not have administrator rights cannot change the inherited price factors and settings.
